Making Mealtimes Nutritious & Fun
FRESH & HEALTHY MEALS
We're proud to say that all of our main meals are fresh and made from scratch every day by our Chef. We are really passionate about creating healthy, balanced and tasty meals for our children, to encourage their interest in food and willingness to try new flavours. We regularly review our menus for nutritional content, variety and their popularity amongst our children!
Our Chef provides breakfast, a two course lunch and high tea. Healthy snacks are offered both mid morning and afternoon. Baby milk and liquidised food is provided for our youngest children.
It goes without saying that our Chef and kitchen staff are trained in food hygiene and bacteria control to ensure that we meet the highest Environmental Health standards. We have a 5-star environmental health rating.
EXPLORING NEW TASTES & FLAVOURS
Mealtimes at Lilliput are a social occasion for our children which they all look forward to. For our youngest babies it's also a messy affair - time to explore new textures and tastes with finger foods, and to experiment with using a spoon. Of course, we're always close by to give a helping hand whenever needed and to ensure that the children's tummies are nicely satisfied.
We also encourage the children's interest in food and ingredients through fun activities with our Chef including pizza making and baking cakes. The children love to get involved in making sandwiches and enjoy tasting the results.
ACCOMMODATING SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS
Our Chef provides healthy homemade food every day, catering for all of our children's' dietary needs. In particular they are passionate about catering for children with special diets such as gluten, wheat or dairy-free and will adapt every meal individually to ensure that your child is safely catered for. Lilliput is also a nut-free zone. Aside from special dietary needs, we also support parents with their food preferences in offering a number of alternatives through which parents can influence their child's daily food.
