HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We would like to say a HUGE HAPPY NEW YEAR to all children, parents and staff! We hope you had a brilliant Christmas and a great new year!
CHRISTMAS 2009
Father Christmas was very busy at Lilliput on our Christmas party day (11th December). He had a present for every child and visited the whole Nursery. Parents, children and staff enjoyed his visit and the parties that followed and all the Pre-School children were brilliant in their play 'The Innkeepers Breakfast'!

CATCH IT, BIN IT, KILL IT!
Although Swine Flu is not as much a risk as it was it is still important to continue to use the anti-bacterial hand spray located at the front door and in all the rooms so as to minimise infections!
We must request that EVERYONE always uses the antibacterial hand sprays located at the front door and in each room when both entering and exiting the centre.
FAMILY FUN DAY 2010!
This year Family Fun Day will be on Friday the 9th July and will be from 3pm—5pm. It is held in Vauxmead Field opposite the church. Please keep this afternoon free so that you can join in the fun. We aim to raise as much money as possible for a chosen local charity by having as much fun as possible. This is an annual event and includes races, raffles, lucky dips and the notorious Silent Auction!! Please keep an eye out for anything (at home, work or in the shops) that could be used as a prize. More details will follow shortly.
OUTDOOR PLAY - WHATEVER THE WEATHER!
Even with the increasingly cold weather we have enjoyed many days playing outside whether it be rain or Autumn leaves lots of fun has been had by all. It is necessary, however that your child is completely weather proofed with hats, scarves, gloves, welly boots and waterproof all in ones. The children get wrapped up warm so that they can still enjoy their time on the bikes, cars and climbing frame and get that much needed fresh air. We have now put the garden to sleep for the Winter and are looking forward to seeing what we can grow when it gets a little warmer.
Even Baby room got to play with the snow!
SAFEGUARDING
It is extremely important that all parents take note of the notices on the front door;
'PLEASE DO NOT LET ANYONE IN THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW.'
All parents do know the codes to get in so please do not feel rude about closing the door on someone. Please make sure staff are always aware of any other person collecting your child and that we have written authorisation in place. We aim to work very hard on achieving the safest possible environment for every child. Please help us do so.
